5 th Grade Prepositions of place At-IN-ON
At the beginning of the class, students were very motivated to learn the new content; they were very participative; rising their hand immediately when I asked some question about the prepositions.
I used colorful flashcards illustrated for example I used different color for each preposition: at: red, in: yellow, on: pink. And they could practice the colors; also they talked to me about what they could see in the images for example different kind of animals and their names.
At the end of the class, I did a game because it is fun for them that always see grammar contents in worksheets and writing form the white board so I wanted to implement it.
Firstly The game was fun, they were motivated to play and they wanted to do a competition, men v/s women .They started to play but it was a problem. The classroom was so small for the quantity of students in the class and it was a mess.
I had to move the chairs and the tables and I made too much noise.
Then when the game finished, some women students got angry because men had won so I had to explain them that I wanted to do a funny class and I did not want they got angry among them. Although there are many problems to control de misbehavior I think the content that I wanted they achieve were successful and they learned.
I have to improve in put rules and make clear instructions and to implement new strategies to prevent misbehavior.

8th grade: Present Simple
This course is very participative although there some few students that do not want to do anything because they think that they do not know anything about English.
In this activity they were very motivated, I use images to show them verbs like: swim, listen, eat, drive, read, and walk and others. They had to observe and tell me what they observed and what they taught the images mean.
Then I show them the structure of use of present simple in its affirmative, negative and interrogative form.
I gave them a sheet that they had to complete and draw some verbs in boxes.
Then I did an activity. They had to do mimic to represent some verbs and the rest of the class had to guess what it was. They were participative, enthusiastic to do it.
I move around the class to observe if they had done the activity on the sheets and review them. Also I did body movement to express what I want to say and they could understand.
